Keynote: Uta Schönberg

The first keynote of EALE 2023 is Uta Schönberg, Professor of Economics at University College London.

Uta's research interests cover a wide range of topics in Labour Economics and Applied Microeconomics. These include the role of firms in wage inequality, and the impact of business taxation on local labor markets, firms and workers.

Keynote: Gordon B. Dahl

The second keynote of EALE 2023 is Gordon B. Dahl, Professor of Economics at the University of California, San Diego.

Gordon's research interests span a wide set of issues, including: income and child achievement; peer effects among coworkers and family members; incarceration, recidivism and employment; and intergenerational links in welfare use.

Keynote: Michele Belot

Michele Belot, Professor of Economics at Cornell University and leaving president of EALE, is delivering the presidential address.

Michele has served as EALE president since 2020. Her research spans over Behavioural, Labour and Health economics, covering themes such as search and unemployment in the labour market, and the economics of dietary habits.
